The month of May was a very happy one for us at Young Happy Minds. We launched a competition with Movellas for MentalHealthAwarenessWeek flipping the negative connotations associated with mental health by asking the Movellas community to tell us #WhatMakesYouHappy in whichever art form they chose. We had some truly fantastic entries and posts about what makes Movellians happy and we also had some lovely converstaions with lots of other people via twitter and facebook around the question #WhatMakesYouHappy. We believe that stopping to reflect on the things that make you happy and expressing this in a creative way, increases wellbeing and levels of happiness and this is backed by science. So not only were the contributions to the campaign awesome, but they also had a positive effect on the people who took part or were involved.
Martine and I would like to congratulate the winners who we have highlighted below, but most of all we'd like to thank everyone who was involved in the competition and campaign.
The compeition was split into 4 categories, but we really couldn't choose just 4 winners so we went for 6 and here there are!
